Our Approach

At Marnie Construction, we’re meticulous at every stage of every project. We ensure that every project is handed over with the highest quality finish

When many people think about what goes into a construction project, they picture big machines on job sites, methodically erecting their new building. However, it takes quite a bit of planning and teamwork to get to that stage. These steps are less apparent but just as important.

Accreditations

Marnie Construction Limited achieves Gold SafePQQ verification

Marnie Construction Limited are delighted to announce that we have been awarded Gold SafePQQ verification from Alcumus SafeContractor for our management system policies relating to ethical trading. By extending our SafeContractor certification, we are demonstrating our continued corporate social responsibility and commitment to being an ethical and sustainable company, minimising our environmental impact.

What does SafeContractor and SafePQQ mean?

Alcumus SafeContractor is a leading third-party accreditation scheme which recognises extremely rigorous standards in health and safety management amongst contractors and it is used by thousands of organisations in the UK.

SafePQQ is an extension of the main SafeContractor Accreditation. It demonstrates our commitment to best practice, and verifies our business against key business sustainability topics, to include the common question sets defined within PAS91. Attaining SafePQQ ensures that the organisation is not breaching laws surrounding the following topics: finance, anti-bribery, environment, GDPR, quality management, right to work, equality, building information, modern slavery and references.

What does this mean for our clients?

As we are SafePPQ and Safe Contractor approved, you as our clients can rest assured in the knowledge that Marnie Construction is a safe and credible company to use for the services you require. We are extremely proud of our record and the standards we uphold. By committing to the requirements set out in order to achieve this accreditation, we see it as a true testament to our work ethic as an organisation.

Gemma Archibald, Director of Alcumus SafeContractor, said: “Major organisations simply cannot afford to run the risk of employing contractors who are not able to prove that they have sound health and safety policies in place. More companies need to understand the importance of adopting good risk management in the way that Marnie Construction has done. The firm’s high standard has set an example which hopefully will be followed by other companies within the sector. SafeContractor plays a vital role in supporting our clients in meeting their compliance needs, whilst working with their contractors as they progress through the accreditation process”.

To know we are operating at the highest possible standard in the way we conduct our business is a great achievement for Marnie Construction and we look forward to continuing to service our clients at this esteemed level.
